Although the members of this group have individually played music for decades, "We 3" is a newly founded band as of November 2022. The three members have been playing together for many years, most recently in the band "MaCristo Trio," and bring a wealth of musical talent, direction, and fun to their performances.

The band feels that the new name perfectly reflects their close-knit group and shared passion for playing amazing music. They look forward to entertaining their audience soon and would love to hear from those who have already heard them play.

Todd Gallant

Todd has been an active musician in the Maritimes provinces for the past 30 years. He started playing guitar as his first instrument, but he noticed that his twin brother Tim had a special talent for it. To allow them to play together, Todd decided to switch to drums, which opened a new world of improvisation and music dynamics for the twins to explore during their early years. As time went on, Todd returned to the guitar and started to sing. While he continues to play drums for a local band called Kim Albert and Faces, he has found that using his voice for music expression presents new challenges and inspiration. Todd enjoys exploring different musical styles and using his varied talents to create dynamic and engaging performances for his fans. Overall, Todd's passion for music and his ability to play multiple instruments and sing demonstrate his versatility and dedication to his craft. He is a valuable member of the local music community, and his fans appreciate his talent and passion for music.

Chris Arsenault

Music has been a constant presence in Chris's life, even though he only picked up the guitar later in life. As a child, he was surrounded by vinyl records from legendary artists such as The Beatles, Beach Boys, The Carpenters, and The Eagles. Chris absorbed all that he heard and would sing along, attempting to learn each part of the harmonies as well as the lyrics. This gave him a keen ear for how to blend two or more voices seamlessly. When asked what he finds most attractive about music, Chris responded, "The concept of music is amazing! It's logical, mathematical, and scientific, which are all things that interest me in my own life. But music is also emotion, artistic expression, and a way to communicate your innermost thoughts and feelings. It's something that can be shared with a large room full of people or enjoyed alone in a quiet space. Music brings out the best parts of humanity." Today, Chris's passion for music has grown into a talent for guitar playing and singing. He enjoys exploring different genres and using music to connect with others, both on stage and off. His appreciation for the many facets of music, from its technical precision to its emotional power, make him a truly dedicated and inspiring musician.

Ian Hunter

Ian has been a beloved figure in the Prince Edward Island music scene for six decades. Over the years, he has played with several well-known bands, including the Blue Crystals, Dino and the Satins, Kaylee in the City, and Phase Two. Originally a lead guitar player, Ian switched to bass guitar in the 1970s, demonstrating his versatility and musical prowess. Ian's exceptional ear for music and ability to pick up and play along to any song has delighted audiences and fans of Rock and Roll and Country genres. Though he is now retired from his "daytime job" as a tech and camera operator with the CBC, Ian remains just as active, spending time with his wife Shirley, one son, and three grandchildren, while still picking up his bass to share his talent and infectious smile with the rest of us. Overall, Ian is a true icon in the PEI music community, known not just for his impressive musical abilities but also for his warm personality and ability to connect with his audience
